Dr. J, Worth Carter (EdD) is an assistant professor of leadership studies and political science at East Carolina University. Dr Carter retired from the United States Air Force at the rank of Colonel and retired from the Missile Defense as a Program Manager. Colonel Carter commanded at the squadron, group and wing level and had over 3,800 flying hours in numerous aircraft. In addition, Colonel Carter held numerous leadership and staff positions in the HQ USAF, Joint Force Command and other USAF major commands.
