Political Science BS and BA Degrees
A student who majors in political science acquires the skills in writing, communications, and analysis that are critical to a liberal arts education, which prepares the student to think independently, with acceptance for others and concern for current affairs. Today, a student can expect to change jobs many times and have multiple careers. A liberal arts education is excellent preparation for employment flexibility
The Political Science major is offered as a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree.
The BA degree in Political Science requires students to take 12 s.h. of foreign language.
The BS degree in Political Science is offered as a stand-alone, or with a prelaw concentration.
